Vipassana Dhammathali Centre for Meditation - Jaipur Rajasthan

Viapassana Centra - Dhamma Thali
Vipassana is one of India’s most ancient meditation techniques. It was rediscovered 2500 years ago by Gautam Budha. Now two five centuries later, this heritage of Vipassana is slowly disappearing from India.
What is Vipassana
Vipassana is a way of self-transformation through self-observation. It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind and body, which can be experienced directly by disciplined attention to the physical sensations that form the life of the body, and that continuously interconnect and condition the life of the mind. It is this observation-based, self-exploratory journey to the common root of mind and body that dissolves mental impurity, resulting in a balanced mind full of love and compassion.
The Vipassana Research Institute, lgatpuri (Maharashtra) conducts Vipassana courses in different parts of india. The Dhammathali at Jaipur is one of the few Vipassana Centers in the country. The Campus is situated on a four acre pentagonal piece of land surrounded by the sylvan forest vally - Galta Ghati a part of Aravali mountain ranges. It has a cream colored meditation hall, and a seating capacity

The complex has a distinctive Buddhist look, and there is a central meditation hall for one-hundred-and-fifty people as well as one-hundred-and-sixty cells.
