Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing The Great Indian Travel Bazaar 09 - an international tourism conference and exhibition on April 19-21, 2009 at B.M. Birla Convention Centre, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
This conference is targeted towards potential consumers of tourism products from across the globe and India.
Objective of Event - Reinforce India as a world-class Tourism Destination
The objective of this event is to reinforce India as a world-class tourism destination, opportunity to interact with foreign buyers, registered Indian sellers, policy makers, investors, members of the media and make a business sense out of The Great Indian Travel Bazaar ‘09.
This event offers Indian sellers a direct opportunity to showcase their products to international buyers and stand a chance to work closely with them.
Structured B2B meetings between Indian Sellers and International buyers
The event will have the presence of around 175 foreign tour operators and travel writers from across 45 countries under one roof and over 500 key tourism product sellers from India.
The exhibition is focused on inbound tourism with structured B2B meetings between foreign buyers and Indian sellers. All foreign buyers’ and registered Indian sellers’ profiles will be featured on the website www.greatindiantravelbazaar.com for online requests to prefix B2B meetings.
Last year, about 1,500 B2B meetings were organized, while this year the number of meetings has doubled (3,000).
