Places Covered : Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrival in Delhi, meet assist and transfer to hotel. Later sight seeing of Delhi, visit Red fort, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Raj ghat, Qutab Minar and drive through President House, Parliament House and Connaught Circus and return to hotel and overnight.
Day 02 : Delhi- Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra (205km/4hrs)- once the capital city of India under the Mughals. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later proceed for sight seeing visit the Taj Mahal- the zenith of Mughal architecture and quite simply one of the world's most marvelous monument. After visit the Red Fort and back to hotel and overnight.
Day 03 : Agra - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur (240 kms/5 hrs) enroute visit Fatehpur Sikari, an old City built between 1569 to 1585 by the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Now deserted, it almost perfectly preserved. Continue drive to Jaipur. Arrival and check in at the hotel and overnight.
Day 04 : Agra - Jaipur
Arrival and check in at the hotel and rest of the day is free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel. After breakfast you will take excursion to Amber Fort, 11 kms from Jaipur city. A beautiful complex of Palaces, halls, pavilions, garden and temples built by Raja Mansingh, Mirza Raja Jaisingh and Sawai Jaisingh over a period of about two centuries, still standing in magnificent state.
The palace complex emerge dramatically from the Placid waters of the Maotha Lake
and is approachable only through a steep path. Tourists often ride on the elephant
back. Amer Fort- the red sandstone and white marble palace has some very interesting
apartments- Diwan -I- Aam, Ganesh Pol, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Jai Mandir, Hawa
mahal and Shila Devi Temple.
Later you will visit the Pink City-visiting Janter Manter-the 0bservatory built
in 1700 It look futuristic and almost surrealistic even today. A tour of the city
palace & museum which offer a rare combination of the finest blends of Rajasthani
and Mughal architectures, a dedicated collection of Royal costumes, armory, guns,
old paintings dresses, articles used at royal households etc.
A visit to Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. An unmistakable landmark of Jaipur,
which conjures up several romantic images in the mind of the on looker. Back to
hotel and overnight.
Day 05 : Jaipur - Delhi
After breakfast check out from the hotel to Delhi(250km/ 5 hrs). |
