Kirori Lal Meena - Veteran Political Leader - Contesting as Individual from Dausa
Veteran Meena community leader Kirori Lal Meena has decided to contest from Dausa as an independent candidate in this year’s General Elections. He has left Congress as he got dissatisfied with the negotiations over Lok Sabha seat distribution in Rajasthan.
Meena’s Moves from BJP to Congress – Past Political Events
Last Year, KL Meena left a ministerial berth in the Vasundhara Raje government in protest against what he called her bad governance.
Congress failed to get a clear majority in the 200-member state assembly elections. Meena and his wife Golma Devi along with other independent MLAs helped Congress and Ashok Gehlot secure a majority
During the assembly elections it was Kirori Lal who managed to single-handedly dent BJP’s prospects by ditching his old party. Meenas, a community known to vote bank, handed over Kirori Lal and his supporters a thumping victory which helped prop Congress to power when it fell short of the majority mark.
KL Meena’s Tussle with Congress Over Lok Sabha Seat Distribution
The Meena leader’s relationship with the Congress began chafing over the party ticket from the now reserved Dausa constituency. Kirori Lal claimed that he has been insulted by the Congress, particularly Union Minister Namo Narain Meena, who is also in the fray for Dausa.
Golma Devi, a Minister of State in Gehlot government resigned last week over alleged rifts between the Congress and her husband Kirori Lal Meena who is understood to have proposed his own candidates in seven Parliamentary seats to which Congress did not agree.

Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena is the minister with cabinet rank in Government of Rajasthan with portfolio of food and civil supplies. He was born in 1951 in Sawai Madhopur district and has done MBBS.
He was elected to Lok Sabha in 1989 from Sawai Madhopur constituency. He was first elected to Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in 1985 from Mahuva.

First time in the history! Meena’s proved them self as a political force to reckon with. It was our unity that today politically we are being respected and feared. Still we have to go a long way. Now is the time for electing the national government.
Nationally if we have to be a recognized as political force we have to first choose one leader and unanimously vote on his advise across party lines come what may. Undoubtedly Dr saab is the most respected and popular leader.

It seems that from dausa and Sawai Madhopur Tonk its lost battle for meenas due…to the divided meena vote . In Dausa Muslim Gurjar from J and K will be MP Similarly Kirori singh Bainsla will be MP from Sawai Madhopur ….Who so ever reads this is requested to go to there native village and try to avert this nightmare come true.. what come may, across party lines and communities for getting as much vote as possible for the most powerful candidate i.e. Shri NN Meena and Dr KL Meena in there respective constituencies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr KL Meena has always been wid society/comm whether itz da matter of gurjars revolution or da matter of reservation in assembly in 2000 or the matter of showing the importance of our community in assembly elections 2008.
Even in last assembly elections when all meena’s were ignored(n were lookin helpless) by all parties dr.saab was the only person who held hands of our leaders and showed them the way to assembly.n plz dont forget ki our reservation is also valid till 2010 only n for da renewal of this we need such a great leader in parliament that’s why all parties are trying to devide we ST people.

Dr. K.L. Meena is a superb leader. He has a grassroot network with all communhity, that why all caste and religious groups are supporting him. He is not only Meena leader but also leader of JANTA of whole dausa constituency. In this election it will prove that key holder of power are dalits, OBC’s and tribles.
