2. Arjun have blessing hands of senior party leaders.
3. Arjun Meghwal is also unruffled by the fact that Bollywood actor Dharmendra, the last BJP MP from the constituency, was hugely unpopular with the people as he visited them just three times in his five-year tenure.

About Bikaner constituency
This constituency in the northwest of Rajasthan, has now been reserved for Scheduled Castes, so both the Congress and the BJP had to go hunting for new candidates. It also ensured that the sitting MP, the yesteryear Bollywood hero, Dharmendra of the BJP, was denied a ticket from the constituency.
Of the previous four elections, the Congress has won this twice and the BJP twice. The surprising thing about this constituency is that the victory margin generally tends to be handsome for whoever wins.
