The Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS), located in lake city Udaipur was established in the year 2002. It was started by Geetanjali Education Society.

The institute is recognized by AICTE and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Koa. The institute provides technical and professional education to the youth.

At present the institute conducts undergraduate courses of engineering and post graduate courses in MCA and MBA.

Branches in Undergraduate Courses and Admission Procedure

GITS has five branches of engineering as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission for engineering courses is done through AIEEE and RPET test.

The candidates are selected in the counseling on the basis of merit list. Out of total seats 15% seats are reserved by management quota. For admission in MCA and MBA the candidate has to clear RMCAAT and RMAT respectively.

Infrastructure and Facilities

The institute has its campus spread over 20 acres with sprawling lawns. The campus is with all the modern amenities. The college is well connected with city bus service and other modes of local transport. The institute also provides its own transport facility to the students.

Beside these facilities, the college has a well occupied library where the students can get approx all the books related to their fields. Students are facilitated by a good canteen, separate girls and boy’s hostel, computer lab and other laboratories which have all the equipments of their use.

Special Programs

The institute organizes different programs to enhance the personality of its students and to improve their communication skills. Special personality development classes are conducts by the students placed in MNC’s. Many cultural and sports programs are also conducts time to time so that the student can raise their performance efficiency.

Training and Placement Cell

GITS has a well organized training and placement division which conducts various trainings and offers pre-placement guidance to its students. It works to arrange interviews in some of best companies of the country like TCS, B.K Tyres, and Force Motors etc. Many students are placed in companies and giving their services there.

Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jaipur

Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET) was established in 2000 in Jaipur, Rajasthan with the aim of providing technological education.

The institute runs under the aegis of “Chandrawati Education Society” and is affiliated to Rajasthan technical university Kota. Chandrawati Education Society is a registered society with Registrar of Societies, Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi.

RIET Jaipur has been determined to provide Engineering and Management education through several disciplines.

Mission and Vision

The mission and vision of RIET is to provide world class engineering education and training and foster research in technology and application to produce competent, versatile professionals to build a strong and developed nation and establish itself as a leading technical institution.

Courses and Departments at RIET

The college has separate departments for undergraduate and post graduate courses. In undergraduate courses the college has IT, Mechanical, electrical, electronics and communications and applied science. Candidates looking for a post graduation, can opt for M.Tech, MCA or MBA.

Facilities

The college provides all the basic facilities to its students. It has separate girls and boys hotels, transportation facility, cafeteria, computer lab, physics lab, gymnasium and a large library with study rooms. The hostel rooms are centralized air cooling system with fully furnished rooms.

Various Cultural Activities

To boost up confidence of the students and enhances the management skill of every student the college organizes various cultural activities. Many programs like sports week and other technical events are conducted to inspire, motivate, nurture and develop the tender minds & souls of these students for their overall personality development.

Training & Placement

RIET also does its best for the placement of its students. It has a separate training and placement cell which works to organize various programs to increase technical skills in students. It works as a bridge between students and companies and gives guidance to the students for better placement.

Lachoo Memorial College of Science and Technology, Jodhpur

Lachoo Memorial College of Science & Technology, Jodhpur was established on 2 July 1965.

The college is affiliated to Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur for different courses.

At present approx 2200 students are enrolled in the various courses run by the college.

Courses Affiliated to Different Universities

Lachoo College conducts a number of courses which are affiliated to different universities. The courses affiliated to Jai Narain Vyas University are B.Sc Biotech, M.Sc Biotech, BCA, and BBA. The courses affiliated to Rajasthan technical university kola are MCA, MBA and the courses affiliated by Rajasthan University of health science, Jaipur are B.Pharm, M.Pharm.

Cultural Activities in Lachoo

Cultural activities play important role to enhance the complete personality of a student. Lachoo College focuses to organize various competitions, like dance, song, skit, instrumental music and many more every year during the month of December. Mathuradas Mathur Sports Academy is established in the college to organize games and sports events.

Different Associations in Lachoo

One specialty of Lachoo college is that, it has different associations like Science Association ( works to conduct activities like Science Exhibition, Lectures by Scientists, Paper Presentations), CASA(Computer Applications Students’) association( formed by the Students in 2002 to organize cultural activities, games, seminars, lectures, quiz), Sahitya Parishad (to encourage literary hobbies among students and teachers regular activities like Hindi, English debates, essay competitions, paper presentations).

These associations plays important role to represent the college in State level competitions the students are selected through these competitions.

Faculty and Facilities

Like every college Lachoo also provides basic facilities like library, computer lab, laboratories, Cycle stand, Canteen, Hostel and health care. The college has experienced faculty members so that they can provide better guidance to students.

Lachoo’s training and placement cell works regularly to ensure that young professionals find their rightful place in this world of cutthroat competition. It has become an integral part of the college and has proved itself time and again.
