The Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS), located in lake city Udaipur was established in the year 2002. It was started by Geetanjali Education Society.
The institute is recognized by AICTE and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Koa. The institute provides technical and professional education to the youth.
At present the institute conducts undergraduate courses of engineering and post graduate courses in MCA and MBA.
Branches in Undergraduate Courses and Admission Procedure
GITS has five branches of engineering as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission for engineering courses is done through AIEEE and RPET test.
The candidates are selected in the counseling on the basis of merit list. Out of total seats 15% seats are reserved by management quota. For admission in MCA and MBA the candidate has to clear RMCAATÂ and RMAT respectively.
Infrastructure and Facilities
The institute has its campus spread over 20 acres with sprawling lawns. The campus is with all the modern amenities. The college is well connected with city bus service and other modes of local transport. The institute also provides its own transport facility to the students.
Beside these facilities, the college has a well occupied library where the students can get approx all the books related to their fields. Students are facilitated by a good canteen, separate girls and boy’s hostel, computer lab and other laboratories which have all the equipments of their use.
Special Programs
The institute organizes different programs to enhance the personality of its students and to improve their communication skills. Special personality development classes are conducts by the students placed in MNC’s. Many cultural and sports programs are also conducts time to time so that the student can raise their performance efficiency.
Training and Placement Cell
GITS has a well organized training and placement division which conducts various trainings and offers pre-placement guidance to its students. It works to arrange interviews in some of best companies of the country like TCS, B.K Tyres, and Force Motors etc. Many students are placed in companies and giving their services there.
