National Institute of General Medical Sciences, Jaipur is approved by the Medical Council of India & Government of India. It is one of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The college conducts the courses of MBBS and M.Sc.

The mission of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) is to support research that increases understanding of life processes. The institute is committed to provide the best education of national and international standard.
Divisions of Institute
NIGMS is organized into divisions and a center that support research and research training in a range of scientific fields. One division has the specific mission of increasing the number of biomedical and behavioral scientists who are members of underrepresented minority groups.
Facilities
The college provides international Standard’s Laboratories, Library, Mess, Hostel, Computer Lab, Lecture Theaters facilities to its students.
Training and Research
NIGMS supports biomedical and behavioral research training programs that help provide the most critical element of good research: well-prepared scientists. NIGMS encourage increasing the participation of individuals currently underrepresented in the biomedical, clinical, behavioral and social sciences.
