Samode Haveli in Jaipur
Samode Haveli which is considered to be one of the most popular Heritage Hotel in Jaipur. It has beautiful wall paintings and mirror work on its interiors.
History about Samode Haveli
It was built over 150 years ago by Rawal Sheo Singhji, a Prime Minister in the Jaipur court and the ruler of Samode, to serve the purpose of the Samode royal family’s suburban manor house. The Haveli has been masterfully restored and integrated into a unique property.
The elephant ramp at the entrance of the haveli was specially constructed in the 1940’s to facilitate the entry of guests for the marriage ceremony of the late Rawal Sahib’s aunt.
Interiors of the Haveli
The interiors of the Haveli are harmonized with warm colored walls, delicate marble work, colorful patterns and traditional art objects. The Durbar Hall is the highlight of this Palace. It is one of the most stunning halls showcasing mirror work and enamel work of “Minakari”.
The haveli has a backyard garden that is well maintained with lush manicured lawns and flower beds divided by gravel paths.
This unique atmosphere of the contemporary and the historic gives Samode Haveli a warm & friendly atmosphere enabling guests to relax and treat it as a home away from home.
