Maharishi Arvind Institutes of Engineering and Management

Maharishi Arvind Institute, established in 1975 is an educational institute promoted by Arvind Bharti Vidyalaya Samiti in Rajasthan.

This organization owns five colleges in different cities in Rajasthan related to engineering and business management, hotel management and pharmacy studies.  All of them are approved by AICTE, Govt.of India and are Affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, RUHS, Jaipur & PCI, New Delhi.

Infrastructure and Facilities – Maharishi Arvind Institute, Jaipur

The institute spreads over 6 acres of land in a lush green campus in the locality of Mansarovar and provides all the basic facilities to its students like class rooms, computer centre, conference hall, library, auditorium, various laboratories/workshops and administration block, with lush green lawns around. The library is computerized and has a spacious reading hall for the students. Audio Visual facilities like LCD, Overhead Projectors, Slide Projectors, TV, VC.R., and Educational Movies are available for study and research.

Courses in Maharishi Arvind Institutes

The institute conducts engineering, business management, hotel management and pharmacy courses. In B.Tech it has five branches (Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Technology and Bio-tech). It offers U.G and P.G courses for pharmacy, and M.B.A, BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management) courses.

Research & Development Center

Maharishi Arvind institute has a separate Research and Development center for the engineering students, which works as an integral part of the organization.   This development center uses the skills of the students and faculties to solve the real world problems of the clients. Currently it is focusing on image to text conversion, voice recognition, data compression, search engines etc.

Placement Opportunities for students

MAIET provides the opportunity to its students to interact with the representatives of Industry to facilitate placement in suitable jobs.  Campus interview facilities are arranged by the Institute. During the course, students will be exposed to top executives of private and public sector companies.

Haveli of Devta Ji in Kota, Rajasthan – Famous For Frescoes and Miniature Paintings

Haveli of Devta Ji is situated on the bank of River Chambal near Garh Palace in Kota district of Rajasthan.

Haveli of Devta Ji History

Built around 1838 AD, this haveli belongs to the Rajpurohit of the Kota ruler who was addressed with the title of Bade Devta (Big Demi-God) as he looked like a demi- god. The origin of this Brahmin family was from the northern region of Kashmir.

Three brothers of the family are still residing in the haveli and the traditional rajtilak of the Rajput ruler family is still done by the oldest son of this family.

Famous  for Frescoes and Miniature Paintings

This beautiful Haveli of Devta Ji is  famous  for its frescoes.  It  has few rooms full of miniature paintings, which are worth a visit. The intricate marble carving tells you of the artistic prowess of the craftsmen.

The palatial mansion tells of the rich lifestyle of the people who used to live in this haveli.

As Haveli of Devta Ji is a a private residence, you need to get require prior permission to visit this Haveli.
