The LNM institute of Information Technology is a collaborative venture of the Government of Rajasthan and the Lakshmi & Usha Mittal Foundation of Mr. Lakshmi Niwas Mittal. It is a deemed university as declared by the Central Government.
This public-private Partnership University is situated in Jaipur with a goal to provide world-class technical education to the students.
College Infrastructure and Facilities
The institute has a large campus‚ infrastructure and distinguished faculty aimed to be a world–class institute of excellence. It provides all the basic facilities like lecture hall, tutorial rooms, well equipped laboratories, separate girls and boys hostels, food court, sport facilities etc for its students.
Course Offered
The institute offers four years (8 semesters) B Tech programs in CSE, ECE and CCE. In PG courses it conducts M.Tech in ECE, CSE and CCE, MS and PhD programs. In addition the Institute also offers five years integrated B Tech- M Tech dual degree programs in CCE, CSE and ECE.
The institute accepts applications throughout the year and then short list the candidates based on the number of available seats and the quality of applications.
Cultural Activities
The institute provides many opportunities to its students to explore and enhance their talents extra- curricular activities. It conducts different cultural programs, sports, self-governance and values; all of which help the students towards becoming complete human beings.
Each year student elections are held, for various clubs and committees for food arrangements, interaction of the student community with the administration of the university, hostel facilities, and coordination of active sports and cultural activities in the university.
Carrier Opportunities
LNM institute has a well established training and placement cell which works to help the students in preparing for their interview and getting selection in good companies. It also prepares them to move upwards through additional qualification.
They are encouraged to submit research papers for conferences in India and abroad for which Institute financial support is available.
