Gyan Vihar School of Hotel Management is situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The college comes under Suresh Gyan Vihar University which was established in 1994, by the great academician and thinker Acharya Shri Purushottam Uttam.
SGVU is recognized by the university grants commission (UGC) and is included in the list of private universities maintained by the university grants commission under section 2 (f) of UGC Act 1956.
Objective
Gyan Vihar School of Hotel Management’s objective is to provide the opportunity to the students for obtaining knowledge in a variety of disciplines related to the hotel industry.
It works for the development of right values, discipline, attitudes and personality in the student so that can understand the service oriented hospitality industry.
Courses
The college offers 4-year Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology program with an annual intake of 60 students. It also provides extensive theoretical and practical training in the hospitality operational areas, management subjects such as Principles of Management, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources Management, Finance as well as related technical subjects such as Food Science, Nutrition and Hygiene form part of the syllabus of the 4 year BHM program.
Facilities and Faculty
The school has well equipped 10 laboratories with most advanced equipments and facilities so that the students can get real hands on experience. Functions of school are divided into four basic departments of hospitality education i.e. Front office, F & B, Housekeeping and Production.
The Department prepares quality trained manpower for the Hospitality industry. Most of the faculty members in the college are MBA in Hotel management and are experienced in the respective field.
