Arch Academy of Design, located in Jaipur, was established in the year 2000 to impart hands on skills for self employment and a successful career development among youth.
The institute governed by Arch Educational Society, is affiliated to Rajasthan University. It offers Certificate, Diploma and Degree programmes in Fashion and Interior Design in partnership with Doncaster College, UK.
Vision and Mission
The vision and mission of Arch Academy of design is to provide dynamic learning process to its students so that they can meet with lifelong societal needs and value local knowledge system. It helps the youth to understand the large scale of human potential and dignity.
Campus Infrastructure and Facilities
Arch Institute has its own in house brand shop “Surkhiyan†(showcasing young designer prototypes). The institute provides high class facilities to the students including conference hall, hostel facility for girls, Wi-fi campus, and college canteen. To provide practical knowledge of work, the college has different labs such as Textile Lab, Jewellery Lab, Wood Work Lab, Drafting Lab, Garment Construction Lab etc.
Courses offered
The college offers various courses on Gem and jewellery designing, Garments construction, fashion designing etc. It conducts three types of programs including module programs, under graduate courses and post graduate courses. The modules programs are of 6 months durations and give new ideas and strong base in related field. In undergraduate courses, the institute conducts 3 years degree programs and it offers post graduate courses in Fashion technology and Garments construction of 2 years duration each.
Placements
Arch has a good placements record. A separate placement cell works as a bridge between the candidates and the art and fashion designing industry. The dedicated faculty offers interactive learning atmosphere at the college and the institute has participated in many fashion shows so that the students can get and exposure and make their career.
