Courses offered by MGIaS
MGIaS offers undergraduate and Post graduate courses in Microbiology, Biotechnology and various other branches of applied sciences. In undergraduate courses, it offers B.Sc in Biotechnology and in post graduate courses it offers M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Sc Microbiology, chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry.
Experienced Faculty
MGIaS has faculty with rich experience and with excellent academic record. Most of faculty members are doctorate in their respective subjects and other members are registered with eminent scientists of University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and are pursuing their Doctorate.
Research Aptitude of Students
MGIaS works to build up research aptitude in its students and encourages them to take up various research products with different institutes and organizations. There is a drug research laboratory in MGIaS which was set up on 24th April 2006 and dedicated to the Nation.
Centre of Excellence
MGIaS has been recognized as the ‘Centre with Potential for Excellence’ in the field of biotechnology, by the Department of Sciences & Technology (DST), Government of Rajasthan.
The Centre has a dynamic team to prepare ethanomedicinal herbarium, its scientific validation, and a live documentary, generation of markers and their fingerprints, and various bio-efficacious aspects with in situ conservation of tribal treasure of Rajasthan.
