Arrangements For Secure and Safe Counting in Pink City

Fire brigade, an ambulance and security personal in big numbers will be deputed at the counting station. The officials included in the process are instructed to report at the counting station two hours before the process of counting begins.

As many as 2,704 counting tables are setup at the counting centers in all constituencies. While the maximum of 24 counting tables are setup for Jhotwara Assembly segment of Jaipur constituency, a minimum of 10 such tables are set up for several smaller segments.

Congress may Emerge as the Largest Party

Whatever may be the outcome of the Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan, the punters are betting on Congress emerging as the single largest party, according to bookies in Rajasthan.

If one goes by present odds being offered in the betting market, then the Congress is likely to win 140 to 145 seats and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 125 to 130 seats.

The betting market in Rajasthan is considered huge and as per rough estimates, it deals at over Rs.500-600 crores.
