<p style="text-align: justify"><span style="color: #993300"><strong><span style="color: #e8162f;">Road Construction Projects Aggregating USD 100 million</span></strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Rajasthan government has identified a number of road projects aggregating USD 100 million to be implemented through private sector participation. It includes: Five road corridors of a total of over 1000 km linking various National Highways upgraded to expressways.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Mega Highways Project</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Road Infrastructure Development Company of Rajasthan Ltd. (RIDCOR) has especially been established as a 50:50 joint venture between the Government of Rajasthan and IL&amp;FS. This &#8216;Mega Highways Project&#8217; is the largest road sector project in the country taken up in a public private partnership framework.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><strong><span style="color: #e8162f;">Road Development Program</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">A Chief Minister&#8217;s Road Development Program has been launched at a cost of Rs. 2300 crore. The components of the program are as follows:</p>
<p>* Construction of 16 ROBs at a cost of Rs. 100 crore<br />
* Construction of cement concrete roads in habitation portions of state highways and major district roads at accost of Rs144 crore<br />
* Upgradation of 4500 kilometers of WBM Roads to bitumen roads at a cost of Rs.412 crore<br />
* Construction of 1000 kilometers of new roads to link places of tourist and religious importance at a cost of Rs. 120 crore<br />
* Development of one road in each district as a model road.</p>
